Using Newspaper is a wonderful way to knock down weeds. It is a wonderful way to recycle newspaper and to feed your dirt. The worms will love it as it begins to break down.

These cotton rounds would be a great way to replace cotton balls or makeup sponges they can be washed and used multiple times.  I love Recycling ideas but sometimes it makes more sense to reduce the amount of things we buy, use once and throw away.

It is easy to end up with a drawer full of a mass of cords to all of our wonderful electrical equipment. This organizer would be a great way to keep them from getting tangled. It makes it much easier to find the ones you need too. I love projects that recycle toilet paper tubes because everyone has an abundance of them!

What a great way to reuse pallets! This would be such a beautiful wall on a patio, it would add style and could be used as a sound barrier. If you wanted to hide an area of your landscape or just add a little privacy this living wall would do the trick!

Veteran’s Reflections posted this moving picture on Facebook today.  These Heroes passed the finish line right before the blasts and then they were among the first responders. This isn’t really a recycling post but I felt that today it was important to mention those who did good after such a terrible tragedy in Boston. There are many stories of people who did wonderful things, I hope they receive the same attention as those who committed this terrible tragedy.

I have been wanting to do a mosaic project and this looks like a great one!  There are so many ways you can decorate this birdbath. you could place the tiles in a pattern  or more free form.  The birds will love it and its a fun way to decorate your garden.

A great way to recycle tiles is to update a patio set by covering the top with a beautiful mosaic tile design.  If you have leftover tile from a remodeling job you will be set.  You can also find great deals on boxes of leftover tiles at garage sales or thrift stores.
